During a conversation on Friday with a league executive, Windhorst shared insights. The executive praised Nick Nurse for his exceptional work in shaping the team's offensive philosophy, noting how Nurse has encouraged a spirit of ball-sharing among the players. This approach has alleviated the pressure on individual players to vie for shooting opportunities. Instead, the team is unified in its focus on executing the offensive strategy, which has proven to be effective. The executive expressed admiration for Nurse's efforts and also for the players' readiness to embrace the system. He emphasized the importance of players comprehending the rationale behind the coach's decisions and their commitment to carrying out the strategy.
