Ira Winderman commented, "Had it been Haslem, with the team's current woeful record of 2 wins and 5 losses, he would have undoubtedly shattered several vending machines by now. Adesey is a gentleman, yet the squad is in dire need of a 'madman' type of enforcer—every team requires such a figure. Giannis Antetokounmpo maintains a calm demeanor, while Pistorius is still too green to fill that role of a troublemaker. Perhaps Spoelstra is contemplating taking on the role of this 'bad guy' himself."
